One of our core values is caring about and supporting communities. We embody that core value by giving back our time and resources to the following organizations that serve and support youth and families in our local and global communities:
The Ann Bancroft Foundation – Reach. Explore. Discover.
Compatible Technology International – sharing resources and knowledge to fight hunger and poverty
Walker West Music Academy – Music, the language of the soul
Project M is a personal assets and interpersonal skills-building program, which incorporates a cumulative, experiential and progressive curriculum that is strengths-based and culturally responsive. The intent of Project M is to help urban and suburban youth, elementary through high school age, develop positive self identity, build expressive competence and confidence, and support a sense of purpose and direction they need to more fully engage in life.
Since 2007, Project M programs have been implemented in over fifteen public school and non- profit settings serving youth and families. Options include half or full day workshops or extended after school and summer programs.
In 2010 Mindful Innovation hosted Sixty by 60 Sixty, a fundraising campaign on behalf of The Ann Bancroft Foundation, to support Jackie Levin’s goal to raise enough money by her 60th birthday to fund 60 Dare to Dream micro grants for girls age 10 to 10th grade. Micro grants range from $100 to $500. On 10.11.11 Jackie met her goal and raised $10,000.
